The ferny foliage is a feature of this beautiful deciduous tree, as are the rich red flowers with creamy undertones. A small spreading tree with a domed crown making it a nice shade tree in summer.
Ideal as a shade tree around patios, decks and close to houses.
Leaflets fall in autumn, soon disintegrating with little mess to sweep up.
Tolerant of a wide range of soils, heat and dry conditions.
