Fruit Trees
Self fertile, disease resistant variety. Nice flavoured kernels on this regular and reliable nut bearer. An even sized hard nut. Very showy, early flowering variety. Prolific heavy cropper and good pollinator.
A salad and dessert apple for eating fresh, it has low acid sweetness combined with juicy firm-fleshed crispness. Good keeper at room temperature. Colour includes a pink stripe to red all over.
A popular early season variety. Produces a medium-sized, thinned skinned, golden fruit with a pink blush. Great for eating, and also suitable for cooking.
Produces lovely bright green fruit with crisp sweet flesh. Ideal for cooking and eating. A good keeper and still one of the most popular apples in the world.
A lovely crisp apple medium to large maturing mid to late season. Skin reddish-green. Contains properties that can inhibit the growth of cancer cells.
An early to mid-season variety. One week later than Gala. It produces a yellow/green fruit with a red blush skin and stripes. The flesh firm with a fine texture. Excellent eating fruit, sweet and juicy. A medium vigorous tree that bears fruit at an early age.
Late dessert fruit. It produces a large, thin-skinned yellow blushed red fruit with a crisp white juicy flavoursome flesh. Excellent flavour and keeps well.
A sweet flavoured apple, crisp, firm and juicy. The under colour is yellowish green coloured by a broadly red-striped pattern. It is a very late season apple with a long storage life. Great for cooking as well as eating fresh
This is the classic English apple, often regarded as the finest of all dessert apples. A very rich, complex flavour not readily found in supermarkets as there are so many more new varieties, but Cox’s Orange would have to be a must in any domestic orchard. Skin has an orange coloured tinge and is very attractive. Matures early
Their crisp sweet flesh makes Red Delicious apples ideal for lunches, snacks and salads, baking and desserts. Great colour – striped to solid ruby red has the classic heart shape that is really appealing. Unbeatable flavour, Red Delicious is an all time mid season favourite.
Tangy flavoursome fruit. Dwarf tree bearing full sized fruit. Suitable for warmer areas of NZ. Grows only to 1.8m. Great for small gardens or in a pot. Self fertile
An exciting earlier variety ripening mid to late December. Large, round, sweet orange fruit of delicious true apricot flavour, due to Moorpark being one of it’s parents. Bears fruit prolifically at a young age. Pollinate with Sundrop or Royal Rosa.
An all purpose freestone apricot well suited to warm winter climates. Makes a great selection for Auckland conditions. Great flavour, early and self fertile. Semi Dwarf.
