Carex flagellifera
There are so many NZ native grasses that are well suited to our garden landscaping. This variety has attractive coppery-brown foliage that is upright with a slight weeping.
It looks excellent grouped in plantings alongside flaxes and makes a wonderful addition to the low maintenance garden. Best planted in full sun, in damp to average soils and is dry tolerant once established. Ideal for coastal plantings.
