Acaena inermis purpurea Bidibidi
This NZ native groundcover forms a small, spreading clump of attractive purple fern-like, ornamental foliage.
A low growing species, the tiny cream flowers are followed by eye-catching, spiny red-purple seedheads. It has a good tight habit and is tolerant of a wide range of soil types. It prefers a moist, well drained to dry soil in full sun, but will tolerate some light shade.
